The most popular questions and problems our customers had

  • What is time differentiated tolling?

Time differentiated toll or Congestion charge means that there are higher rates at rush hour than the rest of the day.

The introduction of congestion charge starts on February 1, 2016.

    Light-weight vehicles
45 NOK: Monday to Friday during rush hour at 6:30 to 9:00 and 14:30 to 16:30
19 NOK: Monday to Friday outside rush hour and Saturday – Sunday
    Heavy vehicles
90 NOK: Monday to Friday during rush hour at 6:30 to 9:00 and 14:30 to 16:30
38 NOK: Monday to Friday outside rush hour and Saturday – Sunday

The main objective of the time differentiation is to reduce car traffic in periods of densely traffic and major congestion problems. A reduction of traffic in the morning and afternoon rush hours can reduce emissions and thereby improve air quality.

If you wish to have your tag deposit refunded, you can send the tag to us. To avoid that an active tag is registered in a toll station during transit, it can be wrapped in aluminum foil.

When we receive your tag, your agreement will be terminated and your deposit will be refunded. If you have a negative balance on your agreement, this will be deducted from your deposit.

Please note that a condition for the refund is that the tag is not physically damaged.

  • How do I terminate my agreement?

Send us a notification of termination via MyPage and return the tag.

As soon as we receive the tag, we will refund the tag deposit.

  • How do I find my tag number?

The location of the tag number depends on what kind of tag you have.

The number on old Norwegian tags is after L: and consists of ten digits. Example:  L: 01 2345678 9

The number on new Norwegian tags consists of sixteen digits.
